What is Mind-Body Medicine?
Mind-Body medicine focuses on the interactions between mind and body and the powerful ways in which emotional, mental, social and spiritual factors can directly relieve stress and improve health.
Up to 80% of all illnesses are related to chronic stress.
Thousands of studies published since 1960 demonstrate the efficacy of mind-body medicine techniques in lowering blood pressure and stress hormone levels, relieving pain and improving immune functioning, as well as improvements in clinical conditions such as HIV, cancer, insomnia, anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Where is it used?
Mind-body medicine is used with individuals, groups, and entire populations. It is integrated in hospitals, medical schools, private practices, schools, and community health and trauma relief programs in the US and around the world.
Easy to learn and easy to teach, mind-body medicine skills are changing the lives of individuals and healing communities around the world. Our model is based on the approach provided by The Center for Mind-Body Medicine.

Through working with me, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will help you get to the bottom of what’s really going on if you feel stuck or find yourself at a plateau. We won’t focus on calories or what you can’t eat, but I will guide you in discovering ways to improve your diet, avoid foods that are inflammatory to your body, and include foods that are nutrient-dense. We will work with calming the thoughts and mind chatter that keeps you from being clear on who you are and what you want to accomplish.
